I go by Melissa. I am a writer by day and an artist by night; but, first and foremost, I am a wife and mommy. I have been apart of imaginary worlds for my entire life, and the worlds that have been summoned in my brain itch to escape. To avoid the utter chaos of them freeing themselves on their own, I satisfy them by writing stories or creating art.

For those of you who are like me, who have stories to tell and imprisoned souls to free from your brain, I have created a blog to help. No one starts out knowing exactly what they are doing, and even I learn something new about the craft every day. Roleplay and writing have given me so much joy in my life that I feel I owe it a personal debt. To repay that debt, I have decided to help those who may just be starting their roleplay or writing journey. Though my experience, I hope to help beginners find quick comfort and experts find fresh points of view. My goal is for my readers to fall in love with roleplay and writing as I have. My blog focuses mainly on lessons in roleplaying and fiction writing, but I will occasionally offer you a chance to see into my mind first hand through my personal writings and art. I also keep my readers up to date about any of my works in the publication process.

When I’m not writing, I am most likely creating art. My favorite artistic practice is photo manipulation. Art, for me, is therapeutic. It’s my go-to when I need to relax. I do take commissions from time to time, but family and writing do tend to take priority. Currently, I am not taking tattoo or portrait commissions as I am in the process of bettering my techniques in portraiture. I am open for any photo manipulation or logo design commissions.
